Actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Mumbai residence, Mumbai Police said. Confirming suicide, the police said no suicide note was found. The actor was 34. “He has committed suicide at his residence in Bandra. Our team is there,” Manoj Sharma, Additional Commissioner of Police, Western Region, told PTI.
A statement released by the actor’s team said, “It pains us to share that Sushant Singh Rajput is no longer with us. We request his fans to keep him in their thoughts and celebrate his life, and his work like they have done so far. We request media to help us maintain privacy at this moment of grief.” Sushant Singh Rajput was best-known for his work in the TV show Pavitra Rishta and for starring in films such as MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! and Chhichhore.
