Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Devendra Fadnavis has said that the state government is making a mockery of democracy by calling a session of only two days in the name of Kovid. The two-day monsoon session of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly begins today.
Devendra Fadnavis alleged that the ruling coalition does not want to face the opposition. He said that the government may want to shun the issues of common people’s interest but the opposition will not hesitate to expose them. Shri Fadnavis clarified that he has no enmity with Shiv Sena, but there are differences at the level of ideology.
On the suicide of a candidate from Pune who wanted to get a job from Maharashtra Public Service Commission, he said that the functioning of the commission needs to be thoroughly reviewed.
