The Railways has issued an order to abolish the special status of Mail and Express trains with immediate effect and restore the pre-pandemic ticket fare. In a letter written yesterday to the Divisional Railways, the Railway Board has said that the trains will now operate in regular numbers and the pre-pandemic fares will be restored.
The special train for the festival, which was running on zero number, will now run on the normal number. Walking on a normal number means that he has two-three defects.
One is that the special train category which is there has been abolished. The second thing is that some fares used to be special in this, so now that process is over.
