A mob of over 500 people allegedly attacked policemen after a clash between some youths in Maharashtra’s Aurangabad. The incident took place on Wednesday night at Kiradpura, where there is a famous Ram temple and the temple is expected to be visited by a large number of people on the occasion of Ram Navami, the official said.
Police Commissioner Nikhil Gupta said, we do not know who were involved in the attack. Their number was 500 to 600. The incident took place after a clash between some youths.
The search operation is on to nab them. He said, the Ram temple is safe. Six to seven vehicles have been damaged. No one has been arrested in the case so far.
