The Bombay High Court has exempted Aryan Khan from appearing weekly before the Drugs Control Bureau-NCB. He said that Aryan will have to appear before the Special Investigation Team of NCB Delhi branch whenever he is directed, provided he is given 72 hours notice. In another amendment, the court allowed Aryan Khan to move out of Mumbai on the condition that he would inform the agency about his travels in advance. Aryan Khan was arrested by the NCB on October 3 for allegedly using narcotics after a raid on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast.

Group Captain Varun Singh, the lone survivor of a helicopter crash in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu, passed away today. He was undergoing treatment at the Command Hospital in Bangalore. The US has said that the US military or officials will not be blamed for the killing of ten people in a drone attack in Afghanistan in August.
