The Directorate General of Civil Aviation-DGCA has extended the ban on regular international commercial passenger flights till October 31. The DGCA circular states that these restrictions will not apply to international all-cargo operations and flights specifically approved by the Directorate General. The aviation regulator said regular international flights may be allowed on selected routes by the competent authority on the merits of the case.
