PM Modi will be on a visit to the United States from September 21 to 23. During this visit, he will participate in the fourth Quad Leaders’ Summit in Wilmington, Delaware. The Quad Summit is being hosted by U.S. President Joe Biden on September 21. Following a request from the U.S. side to host this year’s Quad, India has agreed to host the next Quad Summit in 2025.
At the Quad Summit, leaders will review the progress made over the past year by the group of four countries—U.S., Australia, India, and Japan—and set the agenda for the coming year to assist Indo-Pacific countries in achieving their development goals and aspirations.
PM Modi will address the UNGA on the theme of ‘Summit of the Future’ on September 23.
On September 23, the Prime Minister will address the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York on the theme ‘Summit of the Future.’ The summit’s topic is ‘Multilateral Solutions for a Better Tomorrow,’ and a large number of global leaders are expected to participate.
During the summit, the Prime Minister will hold bilateral meetings with many world leaders and discuss issues of mutual interest. While in New York, on September 22, he will address a conference of the Indian community. The Prime Minister will also engage with CEOs of leading U.S. companies to promote greater collaboration between the two countries in cutting-edge fields like AI, quantum computing, semiconductors, and biotechnology. Additionally, the Prime Minister is expected to interact with active thinkers and other stakeholders in the India-U.S. bilateral landscape.
