Shova Majumdar, the 85-year-old mother of a party worker in West Bengal who was allegedly attacked by Trinamool Congress (TMC) members and attacked Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, died on Monday, according to Home Minister Amit Shah. TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee will be haunted for a long time, according to Amit Shah, by Majumdar’s family’s pain and wounds.

The BJP has so far claimed that the elderly woman succumbed to her injuries sustained during an attack by Trinamool Congress supporters in Nimta area of West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas. The incident had happened in February.
In response to Shova Majumdar’s (80) death, Union Minister Smriti Irani stated on Monday, “TMC thugs assaulted an 80-year-old woman. Her son works for the BJP, which was her fault. She was brutally beaten and died as a result of it.”
