Just as a teacher named Samuel Paty was beheaded in France by Islamists, to avoid any such untoward incident like this, Bhartiya Janata Party leader Kapil Mishra filed a complaint with the Uttar Pradesh police against AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan for threatening to behead a Hindu priest Narsinghanand Saraswati.

The Bhartiya Janata lparty leader claims Khan is purposefully inciting riots in India and has a malafide intention against Hindus and Hindu sadhus.
“His statement is a criminal intimidation and open threat to kill a well-being and defined priest…he is purposefully targeting Hindus by targeting the chief priest of (Dasna Devi) Mandir,” Mishra writes. As a result, he has asked the UP Police to charge Khan under a slew of IPC sections.
While the Delhi Police has filed a FIR against Yati Narsinghanand for his comments, despite Khan’s open and violent threat, it has yet to do so. Khan’s tweet was hosted on Twitter for several hours before being retracted by the microblogging platform today, citing a violation of its terms of service.
