The Center has said that action has been taken against Popular Front of India-PFI on the basis of evidence. Talking to reporters during an event in New Delhi, Ajay Mishra said that if the activities of PFI were not fatal for the country, then why would it be banned.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad has expressed happiness over this decision of the Ministry of Home Affairs on its official Twitter handle. Dr. Surendra Jain of VHP has said that ‘Vishva Hindu Parishad welcomes the step taken to eliminate anti-national forces like PFI and hopes that their allies will also learn from this incident.
Himanta Biswa Sarma said in a tweet, ‘I welcome the decision of the Government of India to ban PFI. The Government is determined to ensure that anyone who is hatching a diabolical, divisive or disruptive conspiracy against the country will be dealt with sternly. ,
