The official said that eighty percent of the employees of the Ministry of External Affairs have left Afghanistan. Maintaining relations with embassies of other countries is the responsibility of the political departments of the Ministry of External Affairs, but at present there are very few officials in these departments.
The Afghan news agency has reported that at this time most of the embassies in Afghanistan have cut off contact with the Kabul administration and the countries in which these embassies are located.
