Former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has expressed his inability to appear before the Enforcement Directorate today in an extortion case.
In a letter sent to Tehseen Sultan, Assistant Director, Enforcement Directorate, Mr. Deshmukh has said that he is suffering from several diseases. He has assured that as soon as he gets the facts and information related to the case, he will provide all the documents and information to the Enforcement Directorate.
Shri Deshmukh said that as per the convenience of the Enforcement Directorate, he would be available to the investigating agency through audio-visual medium.
