Several Hindu organisations and BJP have come together demanding the arrest of the accused in the killing of a Hindu man in Malakheda in Alwar, Rajasthan.
The victim’s family said they did not obtain the body until the arrests of the suspects had taken place. Hindu groups have also called for the arrest of the accused in the murder of the man.
They protested at the local thana in Malakheda and called for the removal of SHO and CO and accused the police of shielding the accused.
BJP State Chief Satish Puniya has said there have been innumerable cases where Hindus have been tortured and harassed in the Mewat district.
Puniya allegedly argued that the crime would not have been likely without the knowledge of the police and suspected the members of a certain group of being the perpetrators of the crime.
Puniya demanded changing of the beat incharge and others at the local thana.
The incident occurred in the village of Baleta, where Dharmi Jogi, a resident of the village, was engaged in work related to his agricultural property. The Three primary accused
members of the family have said that they were threatened with dire consequences — “finishing off everyone” if they reported the matter to police.
They added that the incident has evoked intense fear among people in the village.
