A stone from Sita Eliya, where Goddess Sita is said to have been captured by Ravana in Sri Lanka, will be used in the building of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Milinda Moragoda, Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner to India, is scheduled to carry the stone to India.

A temple dedicated to Goddess Sita in Sita Eliya is said to mark the location where she was imprisoned by Lankan king Ravana and where she frequently prayed to Lord Rama for her release.
