Most exit polls predict a landslide victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Gujarat assembly elections, while Himachal Pradesh is set for a close fight between the ruling BJP and the Congress. According to the exit polls of various news channels, BJP may get between 117 to 151 seats in Gujarat.
The Congress is expected to get 30 to 51 seats and the Aam Aadmi Party two to 21 seats. In Himachal Pradesh, the BJP has been predicted to get 24 to 42 seats and the Congress 24 to 40. The Aam Aadmi Party is expected to get less than ten seats.
In 2017, BJP had won 99 out of 182 seats. It got a total of 49.05 percent votes, the second number Congress won 77 seats and its vote percent was 41.44. In 2017, tribal leader Chhotu Bhai Vasava’s party BTP came third, winning two seats. The vote percentage was 0.74. NCP also got one seat. Apart from this, 3 independent candidates had won.
