The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has sent Chandrayaan-3 towards the Moon’s orbit. The space agency has said that Chandrayaan-3 has completed one orbit around the Earth and is now moving towards the Moon. Its next stop would be the moon.
Earlier, Chandrayaan-3 underwent five orbits in a systematic manner as part of its mission after its July 14 launch. ISRO has said that its endeavor is to successfully land the Chandrayaan-3 lander on the lunar surface on 23 August.
Indeed, the important mission of ISRO is moving fast towards success in a phased manner. ISRO had ejected Chandrayaan-3, which had circled all the orbits of the Earth, towards the Moon on the midnight of August 1. ISRO has shared this achievement with the world by tweeting on Tuesday morning. ISRO has said that at the appointed time, the vehicle was turned on to eject it from the Earth’s orbit and by giving it sufficient acceleration, it was sent on the way towards the moon. Now the next stop is the Moon. It will be placed in the Moon’s orbit on August 5.
