India has said that China’s provocative attitude, large deployment of troops along the border and its one-sided attempts to change the status quo of the border pose a serious threat to peace along the Line of Actual Control in eastern Ladakh. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said this recently by the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China regarding the situation on the border.
He said that the deployment of Chinese troops in large numbers and the accumulation of weapons in the border area is going on. The Spokesperson said that in response to China’s action, the Indian Army also had to make counter-deployments in these areas to ensure that the Indian border situation is completely secure.
He said that India hopes that China will work towards an early resolution of the unresolved issues of the Line of Actual Control in eastern Ladakh, in full compliance with bilateral agreements and standards.
