The Chinese PLA has full-fledged strategy to encroach into Nepal. People’s Liberation Army has constructed at least nine buildings in Nepal’s Humla district, Times of India has reported.
The building have reportedly been built at a distance of 2 kilometre from the border in an area called Lapcha-Limi. The Chinese have also restricted local residents of the province from entering the area. The report adds that China is making transgressions into the Lapcha-Limi area for quite a few years now.
The report adds that China has allegedly diverted the course of rivers flowing into Nepal whilst constructing roads in the Tibet Autonomous Region. This has allowed them to occupy the land close to these rivers and proclaim it to be a part of their dominion.
China had first built a solitary building in Lapcha-Limi almost a decade ago. Upon dissent from Nepal, China claimed that it was a veterinary centre.
“Since Lapcha-Limi is in a remote area and Nepalese administration does not have a very effective presence here, no one knows when the one building mushroomed into nine buildings,” says the report.
