The Delhi High Court on Thursday quashed the door-to-door ration scheme launched by the Aam Aadmi Party government. The High Court had allowed two petitions of ration dealers challenging the Chief Minister’s door-to-door ration scheme.
Acting Chief Justice Vipin Sanghi and Justice Jasmeet Singh said that the Delhi government is free to come up with any other scheme for door-to-door delivery, but it will use the food grains provided by the central government for door-to-door delivery. Can’t do it.
On January 10, the High Court had reserved the order on the petitions filed by the Delhi Government Ration Dealers Association and the Delhi Ration Dealers Union.
