Delhi on Monday recorded 5,023 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 4,43,552.
According to the latest figures released by the Delhi government’s health department, a total of 71 people died due to coronavirus in the national capital. With this, the Covid-19 death toll in Delhi touched 7,060.
In the last 24 hours, 7,014 people recovered or cured from the deadly new coronavirus. With Monday’s figures taken into account, a total of 3,96,697 people have been cured or recovered in Delhi so far.
There are now 39,795 active cases of Covid-19 in Delhi as of November 9.
Meanwhile, the Covid-19 infection rate in Delhi stood at 12.84 per cent while recovery rate stood at 89.43 per cent. The rate of active cases stood at 8.97 per cent and Covid-19 death rate at 1.59 per cent.
Delhi has conducted 50,99,774 tests for coronavirus till now.
