Ajith K. Doval met Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley and discussed various aspects of India-US bilateral cooperation. Doval and Miley met here on Monday at India House, the official residence of India’s ambassador to the US, Taranjit Singh Sandhu.
The National Security Advisor also underlined the importance of easing export controls to facilitate technology, production and development between India and the United States. He has said that there is a need to implement intentions and ideas. Doval also said that steps should be taken in a focused manner within the stipulated time frame, so that definite results can be obtained.
Doval was speaking at the launch of India-US Initiatives on Critical and Emerging Technologies at the Chamber of Commerce’s India-US Business Council Roundtable in Washington yesterday. The conference was hosted by US Commerce Minister Gina Raimondo and US National Security Advisor Jack-Sullivan.
