The Indian Coast Guard has taken a major action in the Arabian Sea. The probe agency has intercepted a Pakistani boat in the Indian territorial waters in the Arabian Sea. A large quantity of arms-ammunition and 40 kg of drugs have been recovered in this boat along with 10 crew members. The Coast Guard formed a team and laid siege in the Arabian Sea. The team intercepted Al Soheli, a Pakistani fishing boat, for questioning and investigation. During the search of the boat, a large quantity of arms, ammunition and about 40 kg of narcotics was recovered from it.
Officials said that the value of the recovered drug has been estimated at around Rs 300 crore. Police is interrogating the arrested accused and further investigation is on. Where are the accused from? It is being ascertained where and how these drugs were to be supplied further.
