Amidst the election fervor in the country, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has conducted raids in Jharkhand and West Bengal, creating a stir in political circles. Many view this action as a political strategy to target ruling parties during elections, while others see it as action taken on issues related to national security.

In Jharkhand, the ED raided the residences of the state’s mining minister and officials in connection with a money laundering case. In West Bengal, the ED conducted searches at various locations related to alleged scams in the state’s education department. These raids, conducted close to the elections, have raised concerns about their potential influence on the electoral process.

There is also an allegation that these ED raids are directly connected to infiltration from Bangladesh. Some allegations suggest that several major scams and crimes in the state are linked to Bangladeshi infiltrators. Political parties have reacted differently to the situation. While the ruling parties see it as a politically motivated move aimed at influencing the elections, the opposition views it as a step against corruption.
