Union Joint General Secretary of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Dr. Surendra Jain said that Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal Khattar has taken a historic step by announcing the establishment of a welfare board for priests. Haryana Chief Minister, who is concerned about the welfare of priests, has presented an ideal for the rest of the Chief Ministers, in such a situation, when there is a competition going on in the whole country to loot the government treasury to fill the pockets of Mullahs and clerics. The establishment of this board would prove to be an important step in the development of Hindu religion and the priests who patronize it.
Dr. Surendra Jain said that Vishwa Hindu Parishad congratulates this step of Haryana Chief Minister and assures to take forward the programs run for the development of priests.
Vishva Hindu Parishad is already determined for the development of priests. VHP runs various programs for the development of priests across the country. But due to the neglect of the secular governments, the priest could not worry about the welfare of the priests.
He said that now after the establishment of the Pujari Purohit Welfare Board, neglected priests and priests would not only be helped to become self-sufficient but would also get support towards leading a self-respecting life. Now they will be able to perform their role efficiently and comfortably for the development of their religion and society.
Dr. Jain assured that VHP will go ahead and contribute whatever contribution is needed to implement this scheme effectively.
