Genocide of Hindus is not tolerated: Dr Surendra Jain

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has said that the United Nations should now send a Peace Keeping Force to stop the relentless genocide of Hindus in Bangladesh. VHP’s Central Joint General Secretary Dr Surendra Jain has said that the atrocities being committed by Islamic fundamentalists on Hindus can only be compared with the brutality of the Nazis. The series of brutal atrocities against Hindus is not taking its name to stop. Now the United Nations Organization should take the initiative in this matter and send its Peace Keeping Force to Bangladesh without any delay for the protection of the badly afflicted minority Hindus there. Condemning the brutal atrocities on Hindus, VHP cautions Sheikh Hasina to follow their Raj Dharma, ensure the safety of Hindu society and get the culprits punished.

He said that the United Nations and all human rights organizations remain crippled. Islamic fundamentalists are bent on making Bangladesh a Hindu void. Bangladesh government has become a mute spectator. Instead of controlling the jihadis, the Prime Minister is advising the Government of India that they should not allow any such incident to happen in India that will inflame the Muslims there. After this statement of Sheikh Hasina, Muslim fundamentalists became more agitated and the brutal atrocities on Hindus increased. The cycle of atrocities is still not taking its name to stop.

The Joint General Secretary of the VHP said that Bangladesh is a declared Islamic country. That is why, like Afghanistan and Pakistan, there have been heinous atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh since the beginning, but the current developments have broken all the previous records. In the last 10 days alone, more than 150 Maa Durga Puja Mandaps were destroyed. Demolished more than 362 idols. Houses and shops of thousands of Hindus have been attacked and looted. More than 1000 Hindus have been injured and till now 10 Hindus have also been reported dead. Many Hindu women have been brutally gang raped. In Haji Ganj of Chandpur, a woman, her daughter and her sister’s daughter were brutally gang-raped. An innocent 10-year-old girl died there. Three temples of ISKCON, Ashrams of Ramakrishna Mission, More than 50 temples like Ram Thakur Ashram have been destroyed. Two saints of ISKCON and three priests of Chaumohini temple have been brutally murdered. Another priest’s body was found yesterday in the pond of ISKCON temple. In many districts incomplete news has been received due to internet restrictions. The reality is even worse than this.

He said that such atrocities on Hindus have become a part of the radical Islamic character, which is evidenced by the steadily declining population of Hindus in present day Bangladesh. The Hindu population in East Pakistan was 22% in 1951, from 18% in 1971 at the time of the creation of Bangladesh, which has now come down to just 7%. This proves that even after the creation of Bangladesh, the process of atrocities on Hindus has not stopped but has increased rapidly. The whole world knows that similar inhuman atrocities were done on all Bengalis by Pakistani army, to get rid of which India had formed Mukti Bahini and Bangladesh was created. But after getting rid of Pakistani atrocities, the real character of the Muslim society came to the fore and the governments there became the custodians of this barbaric character.

After declaring an Islamic country, the Wasted Property Act was made there, under which the property of Hindus can be occupied by the government there at any time. It is a clear view of the VHP that due to the Islamic character of Bangladesh, the governments there have been becoming not only a mute spectator of atrocities on Hindus, but also a motivator. They cannot get out of the clutches of fundamentalists without declaring Bangladesh as a secular country instead of an Islamic country.

Dr Jain said that the Hindu society will not tolerate these inhuman atrocities being committed on the Hindu society. That’s why a huge outrage is being demonstrated in Kolkata today on October 19. A big demonstration will be held on 20 October in front of Bangladesh High Commission in Delhi. Along with this, outrage demonstrations will be held at district places across the country.

The VHP warns the Bangladesh government that if they want to stand in the line of developing countries, they will have to break free from their radical image. Extremists will have to be dealt with in the same manner as was done in 1971. If needed, they should also take the help of the Government of India.

The VHP also appeals to the United Nations to play an active role in preventing atrocities on Hindus. Justify your existence by sending Peace Keeping Force to these places. The VHP Government appeals to the Government of India to exert all its might on the Government of Bangladesh so that it can fulfill its obligation to ensure the security of Hindu society.
