Saudi Arabia’s Prince Mohammed bin Salman is a visionary who goes across to convert the education system by including the epics of Hindu mythology. As part of the new vision Saudi Arabia Vision 2030, to enable students with extra and rich knowledge about various cultures.
It is reported that students will be taught the Ramayana and Mahabharata as part of this. According to reports, the study will focus on globally significant Indian cultures such as yoga and Ayurveda in order to broaden students’ cultural knowledge and exposure.
Aside from the inclusion of the Ramayana and Mahabharata in Saudi Arabian students’ curricula, the English language has been made mandatory in the new Vision 2030. To clear up any confusion about the changes in the education sector, Saudi users’ vision was clarified by a screenshot shared by a Twitter user named Nouf-al-Marwai.
“Saudi Arabia’s new vision-2030 and syllabus will help build an inclusive, liberal, and tolerant future,” he wrote.
The Twitter user also shared a screenshot of his son’s curriculum, which included a diverse range of cultures. The syllabus today included included concepts and history of Hinduism, Buddhism, Ramayana, Karma, Mahabharata, and Dharma. “I enjoyed assisting her with her studies,” he added in his tweet.
