Hindu man beaten and harrased for refusing to convert to Christianity in Madhya Pradesh

Forceful conversion of Hindus are getting rampant day by day. People are beaten and tortured if any Hindu refuses to convert. According to information by the police officials, the police filed a complaint against a woman and her family members on Friday (April 23) for harassing and pressuring her husband to convert to Christianity. The incident occurred in the Madhya Pradesh city of Indore

Prakash Nagele has been named as the victim. According to reports, the 36-year-old has filed a police report against his wife and in-laws. Nagele said he was given 50,000 dollars to convert to Christianity and was threatened when he declined. He said the accused even ripped up his holy texts. He went on to say that after getting a scooter as a monetary compensation, his wife and sister-in-law converted to Christianity.

On February 25, Nagele accused one Anupam Brother of pressuring him to convert. The victim’s wife and her nine family members have been charged with injuring religious feelings, using criminal intimidation, and rioting by the police.

“We have lodged a case against 10 individuals under section 3 and 5 of the Freedom of Religion Act and IPC,” Satish Dwivedi, the police-in-charge at Dwarkapuri police station, said.
