Hindu Sena files complaint against Owaisi, AIMPLB for inciting violence against Ram Lalla

Fringe outfit Hindu Sena has filed a complaint against Lok Sabha MP Asaduddin Owaisi and the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) for promoting hatred and violence.

In its complaint to the Delhi Police, Hindu Sena has alleged that the AIMIM chief and the AIMPLB are promoting hatred and violence against ‘minor Ram Lalla’, the deity’s property and the Hindu community as a whole. This, claimed the complainants, is in contempt of the Supreme Court’s 2019 verdict in favour of the deity Ram Lalla over the land dispute in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya.

The complainant, Vishnu Gupta has cited Owaisi’s tweet saying, “#BabriMasjid thi, hai aur rahegi inshallah #BabriZindaHai.”

In addition, Gupta has also included in his complaint the All India Muslim Personal Law Board’s tweet that says, “#BabriMasjid was and will always be a Masjid. #HagiaSophia is a great example for us. Usurpation of the land by an unjust, oppressive, shameful and majority appeasing judgment can’t change it’s status. No need to be heartbroken. Situations don’t last forever.”

“This is clearly an act beyond any reasonable doubt which is deliberate and malicious, intended to outrage religious feelings of Hindu community,” the Hindu Sena’s complaint to Delhi Police Commissioner SN Shrivastava alleges.

National President of the Hindu Sena, Vishnu Gupta has further requested the Delhi Police to lodge an FIR against Asaduddin Owaisi and the AIMPLB for “promoting such malicious propaganda”.
