On August 2, Amit Shah took to Twitter to inform that he was tested positive for the novel coronavirus, He also informed about his health and requested all those who have come in contact with him in the last few days to get themselves tested for coronavirus.
Amit Shah had then said that his health was fine and he was admitted to the hospital on the advice of doctors.
“On getting initial symptoms of coronavirus, I got the test done and the report came back positive. My health is fine, but I am being admitted to the hospital on the advice of doctors. I request that all those who have come in contact with me in the last few days, please isolate yourself and get your inquiry done,” Amit Shah had then tweeted.
Amit Shah, 55, has been at the forefront of India’s fight against the novel coronavirus. Amit Shah even stepped in to assist the Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government in bringing the Covid situation under control when the infections were at peak in the national capital.
Setting aside political differences, Amit Shah and the Delhi government had held a series of meetings and discussions to bring the Covid situation in Delhi under control.
