For the ongoing dispute with China at the Ladakh border, talks are underway to find a solution, confirmed Union Home Minister Amit Shah. India does not need any other country to intervene.
Home Minister Amit Shah was speaking at a session of the E-Agenda Aaj Tak.
On being asked about Donald Trump’s offer for mediation between India and China to resolve the ongoing dispute, Amit Shah said, “I do not want to comment on what the US President said, however, I do want to assure everyone that our international borders are safe under the leadership of PM Modi”.
“The Narendra Modi government is committed towards the security of India’s borders and will not let anything cause any harm to them,” Amit Shah said.
“I do not want to comment on US president’s statement. However, I do want to assure that the Narendra Modi government will not let our security and sovereignty get breached,” Shah added.
Amit Shah also said that India does not want any other country’s intervention in solving its disputes.
