In Maharashtra, Shinde and Uddhav faction instructed not to use Shiv Sena and election symbol bow and arrow

The Election Commission has issued an interim order directing both the factions not to use the party’s name Shiv Sena and its symbol bow and arrow till a final decision is taken on the symbol of Shiv Sena in Maharashtra.

Addressing the people through Facebook Live today, party leader Uddhav Thackeray said that his party has given the choice of three election symbols to the Election Commission. The Commission may allot any one of these symbols. He alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party and Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde are conspiring to eliminate Shiv Sena.

Thackeray said the rival faction led by Eknath Shinde should go before the people without using the name of his father Bala Sahak Thackeray.
