The Indian women’s team will face host Sri Lanka in Dambulla in the second Twenty20 International (T20I) today. The match will start at 2 pm Indian time.
The Indian women’s team, captained by Harmanpreet Kaur, registered a 34-run win over Sri Lanka in the opening match of the series on Thursday to take a zero lead. Chasing India’s target of 139 runs, the hosts could manage only 104 for five in the allotted 20 overs.
The Indian team will also play three One Day Internationals in Sri Lanka. The tour is India’s first series since former captain Mithali Raj announced her retirement from all forms of cricket.
