India and Israel have agreed to recognize each other’s COVID-19 vaccination certificates. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar made the announcement after yesterday’s talks between Israel’s Foreign Minister Yair Lapid. Dr. Jaishankar is on a three-day visit to Israel these days.
During his stay he held meetings with Israeli government officials, business leaders and the Indian Jewish community. After talks with the Foreign Minister of Israel, Dr. Jaishankar said that they had fruitful talks on regional and global issues. He said the two countries also discussed the resumption of free trade agreement talks next month.
