Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, India has sent COVID-related medical and other assistance to more than 150 countries. This information was given by the Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Bharti Pawar in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha.
He said that since the launch of the Vaccine Friendship Program in January this year, India has provided more than 70 million COVID vaccines to ninety four countries.
During the second wave of COVID, India received COVID related equipment and medical supplies from more than fifty countries.
