India has world’s fourth strongest armed forces

According to a study published on Sunday by the defence website Military Direct, China has the world’s highest military force, with India ranking fourth.

“Despite their massive military budgets, the United States ranks second with 74 points, followed by Russia with 69, India with 61, and France with 58. The United Kingdom just misses out on a spot in the Top 10, ranking ninth with a score of 43,” according to the study.

According to the study, the “ultimate military strength index” was calculated after taking into account various factors such as budgets, the number of inactive and active military personnel, total air, sea, land, and nuclear resources, average salaries, and equipment
weight.

According to the index, China has the world’s greatest military, scoring 82 out of 100 points.

“Based on these scores, which take into account budgets, men, and things like air and navy capacity, it does appear that China would come out on top in a hypothetical super conflict,” it stated.

The United States is the world’s largest military spender, with a budget of USD 732 billion per year, according to the report, with China coming in second with USD 261 billion and India coming in third with USD 71 billion.

In this hypothetical conflict, “China would win by sea, the United States by air, and Russia by land,” it said.
