Two young girls who had accidentally crossed the Control Line (LoC) were repatriated to Pakistan by way of Jammu and Poonch Kashmir crossing points on Monday.
Defense sources reported that two minor girls, Laiba Zabair, 17, and Sana Zabair, 13, were handed over to Pakistani authorities at the Chakan Da Bagh crossing point in Poonch district.
Belonging to Abasspur in Kahuta Tehsil, Pok, the two girls were intercepted on the Indian side of the Loc in Poonch on December 6 when they crossed the Loc inadvertently.
After a meeting between Indian and Pakistani officials at the Chakan Da Bagh crossing, the two girls were sent back. Army said that intense vigilance was applied by the forces deployed on 6 December to arrest the two girls without causing any damage to them.
