The Indian women’s team has won the title of Under-19 T-20 World Cup 2023 by performing charismatic. In the title match of the tournament held in South Africa, the young brigade captained by Shefali Verma defeated England by 7 wickets.
Team India performed well and first bowled out England for 68 runs and then won the tournament title by losing only 3 wickets. The tournament was held for the first time and thus, like the Men’s T20 World Cup 2007, India created history by winning the ICC Under-19 T20 World Cup 2023 as well.
President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers and several other leaders on Sunday congratulated the Indian cricket team for winning the ICC Under-19 T20 World Cup by defeating England in the final. President Murmu said that the young women’s team has made the country proud.
