Kakatiya Rudreshwar Temple was included in UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Site yesterday

The Kakatiya Rudreshwar Temple in Telangana was included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site list yesterday. Situated in Palampet village, this temple is also famous as Ramappa Temple.

After the formation of Telangana in the year 2014, a UNESCO site has been selected as a heritage site for the first time in the state. The state government employees had been making efforts for a long time to include the Kakatiya Rudreshwar Temple in the list of World Heritage Site.
