Kash Patel’s ‘Jai Shri Krishna’ echoed in the US Senate and Sanatan discussion took place

Two videos of FBI chief-designate Kashyap ‘Kash’ Patel have gone viral on social media after receiving widespread response following a recent hearing of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

In one video, Patel was seen touching the feet of his parents before a Senate hearing, a symbol of his Indian cultural tradition. In another video, Patel introduced his parents and said ‘Jai Shri Krishna’ and expressed his happiness to have them present in the Senate.

In his speech, Kash Patel spoke about advancing Americans’ expectations for justice, fairness, and the rule of law, and mentioned that his father had escaped Uganda from the dictatorship of Idi Amin.

Talking about Patel’s career, he started as a lawyer and later served in the Justice Department as a terrorism prosecutor. He handled prosecutions in criminal cases involving al-Qaeda and ISIS. In 2019, Patel joined the Trump administration’s National Security Council and was later appointed as Chief of Staff to the Acting Defense Secretary in the final months of Trump’s term.
