Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has left the country. The Indian High Commission in Colombo today categorically denied media reports that India helped Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa leave the country. The High Commission has termed these reports as baseless and speculation.
Male airport officials said Rajapaksa was taken to an undisclosed location under police protection. According to sources, Rajapaksa may go to another Asian country from Maldives.
