Vishva Hindu Parishad has said that there is an urgent need to set up an inquiry commission in India like the Niyogi commission to expose the misdeeds of the church priests and missionaries involved in conversion and to liberate Indians from their heinous conspiracies. VHP Joint General Secretary Dr Surendra Jain said in a statement today that like France, the abominations of Indian churches are also not hidden from anyone. Now Indians must also be freed from the sins of the clergy. He said that strict laws are necessary for the liberation of India from the curse of illegal conversions being carried out by the Church by deceit.
The VHP has said that it is shocking news that 330,000 children have been victims of sexual abuse by priests in France alone. A commission conducting scientific research on the misdeeds of clergy in France has released this horrifying report after two and a half years of intensive study. The Church of France has previously denied such, but when this report was released the bishop had to apologize.
Dr Jain said that today the Church of the whole world is surrounded by of sexual abuse and adultery. At first they shamelessly deny these but when the facts come out, they are forced to apologise. That is why Western society is turning away from the Church. Where the church began, it is now moving towards its end. The VHP has a clear opinion that this is the time for their introduction and reform. They should immediately stop the conspiracy of conversion in countries like India and motivate them to reform their clergy.
He also said that the history of the Church in India and the present, is full of shameful incidents. From the period of Goa Inquisition to the murder of the saints of Swami Lakshmanananda and Palghar, their history is filled with many bloody pages. In India, they have converted only by deception, greed and use of force. Similarly, innumerable incidents of sexual abuse of nuns keep coming to the fore. Many nuns have also committed suicide. Now many movements are also going on in their midst against the sexuality of the clergy. Several incidents of selling hundreds of orphans abroad from church-run orphanages have also been exposed.Their links with Naxalites and terrorist organizations in the Northeast have also been accused by the state governments there.
It is the misfortune of India that when these sins are exposed, instead of apologizing, the Church glorifies the guilty. The reception was held after the release of rape accused Bishop Franco from prison.
VHP is demanding that now a nationwide inquiry commission like Niyogi Commission should be formed to investigate their conspiracies in India and the culprits should get the harshest punishment. There is also a demand of the VHP that the central government should now immediately enact a strict law to stop the conversion.
The VHP also suggests to the office bearers of the Indian Church to come forward and confess their sins on their own and stop all their other illegal activities including conversion. Otherwise, the VHP will launch a massive agitation and expose their conspiracies and put a stop to illegal conversions.
