Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra’s troubles are going to increase. Darshan Hiranandani, chief executive officer of Hiranandani Group, which works in the real estate to energy sectors, on Thursday claimed that Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra targeted industrialist Gautam Adani for defaming Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that Moitra’s intention was to defame the Prime Minister, because due to his reputation the opposition parties do not get a chance to attack him.
Hiranandani claimed that Moitra made frequent demands for ‘expensive luxuries, assistance in the renovation of her officially allotted bungalow in Delhi, travel expenses, holidays, besides help in her visits to various places in the country and the world.’
‘ Earlier this week, Bharatiya Janata Party MP Nishikant Dubey and Moitra’s estranged partner and lawyer Jai Ananth Dehadrai alleged that Moitra took help from Hiranandani to raise questions in Parliament. On this, Moitra has filed a defamation case against him before the Delhi High Court. Meanwhile, Dubey’s complaint has been sent to the Ethics Committee of Parliament by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.
