India’s star athlete Hima Das has been provisionally suspended by the National Anti-Doping Agency and is facing the threat of a two-year ban. Hima Das has failed the NADA test three times in the last 12 months. Confirming this, an Indian official said that Das could face a maximum ban of two years for disobeying this rule.
This time, Das has already withdrawn her name before the 19th Asian Games to be held in Hangzhou, China because these days she is suffering from injuries like hamstring strain and back problem. Due to this injury, he also had to miss the Interstate Athletics Championship, which was the final of the Asian Games selection. Hima Das has won the silver medal in 400 meter race in the Asian Games. He had last won this medal in these games held in Jakarta in 2018.
Apart from this, this runner was also a part of the team that won the silver medal in the women’s 4×400 meter race. This time too he was expecting a medal in the Asian Games. But he got injured in April itself and after this he had to miss out of the Federation Cup held in Ranchi.
