President Ram Nath Kovind paid homage to the martyred soldiers at the Dagger War Memorial in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir today, on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas.
The President said that the Dagger War Memorial pays respect to the Ranbankurs who lost their lives for the defense and security of the country. He said that this memorial will inform and inspire the people of the country about the high values of the Indian Army.
The President interacted with the soldiers of Chinar Corps and High Altitude Warfare School, Gulmarg.
