Pakistan has put conditions on the modalities of sending Indian aid to Afghanistan. These include a list of certain conditions for Indian aid before reaching Afghanistan.
According to the first condition of Pakistan, supplies to Afghanistan can be made only by Pakistani trucks. India has opposed this saying that Indian or not Afghani trucks should be allowed to supply in their country.
The second condition pertains to the imposition of duties on humanitarian aid. India has consistently maintained that no duty should be imposed on humanitarian aid to war-torn Afghanistan.
India last month offered to provide 50,000 metric tonnes of wheat to the people of Afghanistan as humanitarian aid.
