West Bengal sees the polling of the sixth phase of elections where at least 10 million voters will make certain the destiny of at least 306 candidates along 43 constituencies which are spread across four districts of Bengal.
Uttar Dinajpur, Nadia, North 24 Parganas, and Purba Bardhaman are the four districts that have 43 Assembly seats each.
The TMC and the BJP are contesting all 43 Assembly seats in West Bengal’s Phase 6 elections.
In the sixth phase of the Assembly elections, popular names include BJP national vice president Mukul Roy, TMC ministers Jyotipriyo Mallick and Chandrima Bhattacharya, and CPI(M) leader Tanmay Bhattacharya.
Prior to this, elections have been held in 180 constituencies, with the remaining 114 seats scheduled to go to the polls between April 22 and 29.
The votes will be counted on May 2nd.
