PM Modi arrived in Bangladesh on Friday for a two-day visit, during which he would participate in a variety of programs aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation.

On Thursday, PM announced that he would have substantive discussions with his Bangladeshi counterpart, Sheikh Hasina, during the visit, and expressed his delight that his first foreign trip since the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic would be to a friendly neighboring nation with which India has deep relations.
