PM Modi praised women empowerment on International Women’s Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of International Women’s Day saluted all the women of the country and the world and honored their power. He shared a video on the social media platform “X”, in which he explained that all the knowledge is the manifestation of various forms of the Goddess and the same power is present in women as well. The Prime Minister mentioned in his post that the government has always worked for the empowerment of women, which is clearly visible through various schemes and programs.

In the video message, Prime Minister Modi said that respect for daughters has been paramount in Indian culture and in today’s time, women’s participation is becoming an important factor in global development. He also said that countries and societies that provide more opportunities to women to progress will progress rapidly. India is now going through a phase of “Women Lead Development”. On this occasion, the Prime Minister said that Nari Shakti is a symbol of policy, loyalty, decision and leadership. He also mentioned that the government is making policies and taking big decisions keeping in mind the needs and aspirations of women. He urged everyone to respect Nari Shakti on Women’s Day and appreciate their contribution.

International Women’s Day is celebrated every year on March 8 across the world. This day is dedicated to honoring the achievements of women and strengthening their rights. On this day, women’s social, economic, political and cultural contributions are appreciated. International Women’s Day started in 1909, but it got formal recognition in 1975, when the United Nations started celebrating it with a special theme.
