Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister today penned down a note, requesting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to seem into the investigation into the actor’s death and make sure that everything is “handled during a sanitized way and no evidences are tampered with” within the high-profile case.
“Dear Sir, Somehow my heart says that you simply stand with and for the reality . We are from a really simple family. My brother had no Godfather when he was in Bollywood nor can we have anyone immediately . My request to you is to right away check out this case and confirm that everything is handled during a sanitized way and no evidences are tampered with. Expecting justice to prevail,” Sushant Rajput’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, wrote on Twitter.
Mr Rajput (34), who had starred in films like “Chichhore”, “Kai Po Che” and “Kedarnath”, was found dead at his apartment in suburban Bandra on Flag Day . Police says he committed suicide.
The Mumbai police has not been ready to establish the precise reasons resulting in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, resulting in growing clamour — including by Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan — to handover the case to the CBI. The Maharashtra government, however, has been repeatedly insisting that the Mumbai police is capable to handle the matter.
“I would really like to inform Rajput’s fans to trust the Mumbai police and provides whatever information they need to them. you’ll criticise if the case isn’t taken to its logical conclusion,” Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said on Friday.
