RSS Chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat released a book on Cultural Terrorism: Conflicts and Debates on Cultural Pasts, written by Dr BS Harishankar at Kesari Media Studies and Research Center, Kozhikode, Kerala on December 29.

Published by Indus Scrolls Press is a series of 21 papers written by Dr Harishankar. The book focusses about how India’s history has been immensely affected by vested interest groups, especially NGOs belonging to Christian missionaries, both within India and abroad.

The primary emphasis is on cultural terrorism and how different methods are pursued to disrupt Hindu society through the use of archaeology, linguistics and genetic studies. The sinister role of the Church-Communist axis in tampering with historical and archaeological facts has been explored in depth. Archeological and genetic evidence that Aryans did not come from outside India is provided.

Many ancient cultures have been swept out by both Christianity and Islam. Erasing these ancient civilizations, like the modern ones, is referred to as a cultural conquest. The danger to the cultural values and culture of a country by terrorism is prevalent in India and other countries. The work of the author provides us a timely notice in this respect.
